At first glance, the game may seem quite confusing. However, if you understand the basic principles, you will see that there are not so many rules. The playing field is a special table with high sides and markings that define cells for bets. The main attributes are two cubes, which show points ranging from one to six on each of the six faces. The player’s goal is to predict the combination that the dice will form. In land-based casinos, customers roll the dice one by one; in the online version, a random number generator determines the winning combination. First, everyone places their bets on different sectors of the game table. To do this, you need to left-click on the chip with which you want to place a bet. Then you need to select the desired betting area with the left mouse button. In this case, the screen will display the type of bet and its size.
Types of bets: passline and don’t passline
There are about 40 different bets in the game, which require a lot of experience to understand. Let’s consider two basic betting options that we recommend to start with:
- Even money bet is a passline… It assumes that the size of the possible winnings is equal to the size of the bet. The user who throws the dice is called the shooter. Before that player makes the first come out roll, others may place a passline bet on the shooter’s first roll. To get a win, the shooter must hit a total of 11 or 7. These throws are called natural and double the bet money. If the total of the points is 2, 3 or 12, then this leads to a loss, which is called craps. If the shooter throws any other number of points, then this amount is called a point. The shooter then makes another shot. If the sum of the received points is equal to the number of points, then the players receive a reward. If the shooter rolls a 7, then all bets are automatically transferred to the casino account.
- Don’t passline is a bet that is often called wrong : it has the opposite rules to those mentioned above. To receive a win, you need to get the amount of points in 2, 3 or 12. If this amount fell on the first come out roll, then the win will be doubled the amount of the bet. If the dice show any other amount, then it becomes a point number. With further throws, the players hope that the seven will fall out (unlike the previous pass line rule), since when a point number appears, their bets disappear.
In addition to the listed rates, there are other varieties of them: hardways, field, big 8, proposition, big 6 and others. They serve to diversify the process for experienced players who have already mastered the passline and don’t passline.
